Our Story
What started as a lockdown passion project between two individuals with very different talents has now grown into a purpose-driven brand with heart.
One of us found joy in sewing — stitching together ideas, experimenting with fabrics, and hand-painting designs onto bags. The other had a love for storytelling, building brands, and bringing creative visions to life. During the pandemic, with more time at home than ever before, we dreamed up a small collection of hand-crafted bags. While life and commitments pulled us in different directions, the dream never really faded.
Over time, the sewing continued — from totes to wallets — quietly gifting pieces to friends and family. The marketing journey carried on too, working behind the scenes with global brands. But in 2025, we decided it was finally time to come together and bring this brand to life.
And so, Sage and Hems was born.
